I am a Journalism major at the University of Oregon. With a focus in photojournalism but an interest in Investigative reporting. Part of my education is a Judaic Studies minor, including education on the Old Testament, specific and generalized American Jewish history and medieval Jewish History.

In Spring of 2023 Uriah focused on photographing the Justice for Palestine encampment on the University of Oregon’s campus. The project lasted 24 days resulting in over 3000 photos and inaugural publication. I spent long hours photographing the encampment and working at the pizza shop in the nights waiting on standby for any action at the camp.

Throughout college I’ve worked consistently in the Pizza industry rising to the role of manager. In this role I managed scheduling, deadlines and large crew through high traffic hours. This consistency of work has kept me motivated and efficient with my school work.

In College I’ve found myself doing late nights and early mornings to keep myself afloat and my work worth it. I highly value hard work and curiosity. I am doing my best whilst working and learning. I’ve learned in my life that there is nothing I can’t learn and master.
